During 2014 / 15 school year it has been launched a pilot CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL BIRD TRAPS in educational centres.
Far away from we suposed the traps did not came as a total surprise for some students who used them or had seen them at home. Audiovisual resources helped teenagers who have taken part in the campaing Drawings to change the world to reflect, discuss and start changing their minds about illegal bird trapping.
It is our intention to contribute develop lateral thinking in children and young people and help them to be informed and take side on social and enviromental problems of our world. In our opinion encouraging divergent thinking and the search of creative solutions is not only desirable in art but it's also the best way of finding solutions in all kind of conflicts.
We congratulate IES Hipatia, located in Mairena del Aljarafe, and IES Dª Leonor de Guzmán in Alcalá de Guadaíra, for their students' wonderful drawings.
